Cuentos contemporáneos
Diferentes cuentos de cinco escritores de las principales lenguas de la Península Ibérica son narrados en la función que lleva por título Cuentos ibéricos, tomando para ello uno del euskara, castellano y catalán y dos del gallego-portugués. Sin embargo, en cada función existe la intención de ofrecer cuatro de los relatos, y el día del estreno escogieron los de Monzó, Llamazares, Rivas y Atxaga, dejando por tanto a un lado el de Saramago.

Si bien hemos disfrutado en numerosas ocasiones con los cuentos para adultos, ésta de ahora posee dos características especiales. Una –proveniente de la historia, la cultura y de las ideas libertarias– es el atractivo aunque semiolvidado concepto de lo ibérico. Y el otro –coincidente con las tendencias contemporáneas– consiste en el juego estético que se ha dispuesto en torno a cada relato.

Fran Lasuen

He was born in Eibar in 1959, in the city where he starts his musical studies.

He is one of the founders, in the second half of the 70s, of the band “Izukaitz”, formation that meant a new air for those times in the scenery of the Basque music.

Graduated in History, he combines his musical activity, first with teaching and later with the direction of the Area of Culture of the city council of Eibar.

Izukaitz” disappears, with the beginning of a new project, leaving two disks in the market and immediately Fran Lasuen moves to the lines of “Oskorri” as violinist, voice and composer.

Una península, una geografía, un territorio físico, vivencial y literario compartido en el tiempo por cinco lenguas. Sucesos reales o imaginados, reflexiones, recuerdos escritos para ser leídos, para ser soñados, recreados, contados.

Autores contemporáneos que habitan cada una de esas constelaciones de la palabra, interpretados en cada uno de esos cinco colores. En este caso, Saramago, Llamazares, Rivas y Monzó, junto con Atxaga, todos en la lengua de este último.

Un espacio común para la imagen, la música, el gesto y la palabra.
